Caleb Lakeman of Tualatin pulled out the boys 3,000 meters victory in a meet-record 8:10.91 for the No. 24 time in history and fourth-fastest ever for an Oregon prep athlete Friday at Hayward Field. With six boys under 8:16 it was one of the greatest 3,000-meter races in high school history.
